Who we are
The Barking Brew is an Ontario crafted, zero alcohol dog “beer” designed as a healthy hydration treat and meal topper. We launched at the end of January 2025 and, since then, have brewed 45,000 cans, grown into more than 200 locations, and expanded distribution into British Columbia.

Created by Kourtney Spang, an avid cook, and her taste tester Busch, The Barking Brew was born to make sharing a pint with your pup a real thing. Crafted in Ontario, we make non-alcoholic dog beverages that look like a beer but act as a healthy topper and hydration treat.

Our Brews
Peanut Butter Pilsner — A simple, natural protein beverage for dogs made from two ingredients only: water and defatted peanuts. It mimics the look of a beer, but there is no alcohol. Serve in a bowl as a hydration treat or pour over kibble to entice picky eaters. Low calorie and low fat with a gentle peanut aroma dogs love.
Beef Hound Ale — Originally made with locally farmed Angus beef bone marrow and Canadian grown carrots, we are updating the recipe to a gentler aroma while keeping the same health benefits. The new profile keeps the savoury flavour dogs go crazy for. Use it as a food topper or pour into a bowl as a sippable treat. Non-alcoholic and made without added salt, sweeteners, or preservatives.

How to serve
Shake gently. Serve chilled in a clean bowl or pour over a meal. Refrigerate any remainder and use within two days. Always provide fresh water. Freeze in an ice cube tray to make pup-sicles!
